#HTC Desire 820 / 820q Review & Specs
Review
HTC launched two midrange smart phones in Novemer-2014 first week. HTC Desire 820 and HTC Desire 820q. The HTC Desire 820 and Desire 820q are priced as – Desire 820 for Rs 24,500 and Desire 820q for Rs 22,500 for Indian markets. Now both the devices are available in the Indian market.
A must buy device; it is going to challenge Samsung, Sony, Lenovo & Xiaomi. A decent hand Jeweler that everyone would like to have.
Basic Design
Very simple and decent design gives it sober look. It weighs around 155gm. 13 MP Back Camera with LED Flash & 8 MP Front Camera. It has 5.5 inch display with 2 front facing speakers. One separate screen button is for navigation.
Display
The display is a 5.5 inch LCD Touch screen with 1280X720 HD resolutions.
Processor
The HTC Desire 820 has the Snapdragon 615 64 bit octa-core & the desire 820q has quad core Snapdragon 410.
The Snapdragon 410 is a 64bit newer version of Snapdragon 400 processor. It has GPU of Adreno 405 with the 2 GB, which enable it use big app and games, and fast access of internet.
Camera
This is the strong segment of where it satisfies the customer fully. 13 MP Back Camera with LED Flash & 8 MP Front Camera.
Software
Both the devices launched with the Android 4.4(Kitkat) with the HTC Sense 6.0 UI. The device will be upgradeable to Android 5.0(Lollipop).
Power
It has non removable 2600 mAh battery. Reasonably good strength.
Capacity
The Desire 820 q has 16 GB internal storage. It also has a micro SD slot. The memory is upgradeable up to 128GB.
After a long-long time HTC launched real smart phones, those can compete with the established brands.
